HOW TO APPLY
The School of Film, Media & Theatre is dedicated to educating the next generation of critically aware media makers, scholars, theatre practitioners and citizens. Students work closely with a faculty of professional filmmakers, visual and performing artists, scholars and educators to devise an optimum program of study integrating creative activities and critical scholarship.
Students interested in an undergraduate program must first apply and be accepted to Georgia State University.
In order to enroll in upper level FLME courses as a Film and Media major, there are a few Pre-Film/Media classes and requirements to be met. Once a student earns an average of 2.5 or better in the FLME-prefixed Area F classes, he or she can enroll in upper level film classes even if his or her institutional GPA falls below the 2.5 threshold.
