- Biography
Raynard was born here in Atlanta. As the son of an army veteran, he moved often as a child, living in South Carolina, Oklahoma, and Alaska. He is a graduate of Georgia State University where he discovered a love of journalism and communications. After graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, he worked in several journalism roles including being a Communications Intern at College Park City Hall; a freelance writer for the Fayette County News in Fayetteville, Georgia; and a reporter covering athletic events for Nuts & Bolts Sports, LLC. In 2020, Raynard relocated to Rockdale, Texas to be the Sports Editor for the Rockdale Reporter Newspaper. He later moved back to Georgia to become a Photojournalist at 13-WMAZ News in Macon. After his time in TV News, Raynard transitioned to communications where he worked as the Marketing Communications Specialist at Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia. He is excited to return to Georgia State to spread the word about the great things happening at the School of Film, Media, and Theatre. Outside of work, Raynard enjoys working out, writing poetry, and watching the Falcons play on Sundays.
