The School of Film, Media, & Theatre is dedicated to educating the next generation of critically aware media makers, scholars, theatre practitioners and citizens. Students work closely with a faculty of professional filmmakers, visual and performing artists, scholars and educators to devise an optimum program of study integrating creative activities and critical scholarship.

Master of Arts in Communication, Concentration in Film, Video, and Digital Imaging
The next deadline for the Moving Image Studies track is November 10, 2017 (for admission in spring 2018).
The next deadline for the Moving Image Production track — and for anyone wanting to start the Moving Image Studies track in fall 2018 — will be on February 15, 2018 (for fall 2018).
Doctor of Philosophy in Communication Studies, Concentration in Moving Image Studies
The next deadline for application is December 1, 2017 for admission in fall 2018.
When applying to our graduate programs, you will be submitting all the documentation to the Graduate Office; the School of Film, Media, & Theatre does not gather any paperwork, so please do not send any documents to the department, as they will not be processed.
